Cedar County EMS Association

The Cedar County EMS Association is proud to announce its 21st annual EMS Fest that will be held on January 30th , 2016.  More information can be found on the link below.  21st Annual Cedar County EMS Fest  The Cedar County Emergency Medical Services Association was formed by the local emergency services organizations whom provide emergency care to the communities of Cedar County.  The Purpose of the EMS Association is to:  To promote and advance the delivery of quality emergency medical care and  to promote and advance the professionalism of those persons who provide  emergency medical care throughout Cedar County. To serve as a channel of communication with local, county, state, and national  governmental agencies involved with the delivery of emergency medical care  and with related professional and business organizations and groups  concerned with the delivery of emergency medical care. To provide and promote professional and public educational and  informational activities related to emergency medical care. To promote the development and maintenance of a high code of ethical  standards among emergency medical providers. To promote the development of harmony and a spirit of kinship among  persons who are dedicated to the cause of saving lives and aiding the sick and  injured.  To promote the purposes and objectives of the association.  To provide for the selection and evaluation of projects to be funded with  monies made available from regional, state and/or federal agencies and to  provide for the disbursement of said funds, if applicable, pursuant to the  guidelines of the regional, state, and/or federal agencies.
